We decided to go for a drive to look at the new airport - The Western Sydney International, named after Nancy Bird Walton. IATA code WSI. ICAO code not yet allocated, apparently. Sydney is YSSY.
Due to open in 2026, with further expansion in 2060 - or thereabouts - not my problem!

It was so close to Warragamba Dam, we went there too. There was a new visitors centre, much fancier than the one we saw soon after we came to Sydney. You could also look at the dam from an air-conditioned room! Obviously we hadn't realised that when we took this photo!
