Today was on the road from Chihuahua to Torreon - a full day - we arrived at 5pm.
We saw pecan trees. Apparently Mexico supplies almost all of shelled pecans imported by the US. And we were told that you can go to jail for stealing them. Pecan duffing?
The country is flat. Hard to believe that this is the same country that also has the Copper Canyon! A bit like Australia that has the tropical north and deserts I suppose.
For those who like avocados, Mexico is the place to be. Guacamole is about the only Mexican food that I would go back for. Today's lunch.
