Dublin's fair city...

We both slept well and did justice to the breakfast.  Then we wandered around the city near our hotel and Trinity College, and went for a city tour in the afternoon.



 Still here - where we had lunch 2 months ago.

Famine plays heavily in Irish history.  These statues in Saint Stephen's Green



More kilts here than in Edinburgh.  These worn with a Tshirt.  The football match with Scotland was a draw apparently.
BL had seafood jambalaya which was described as as  between risotto and paella.  Not a bad description.  I had soup - but got hungry later and had some Irish soda bread.

 Trinity College Library.  We did see the Book of Kells but coudln't take photos.


The origins of a Paddy Wagon? Never made an association with Ireland.  But this one is for tourists.
