Rottnest Island

We finally got to Rottnest Island!

Nothing in WA is nearby.  You can barely see Rottnest (aka Rotto)  on the horizon as you look from Fremantle.

We went on a tour of the island.

What took my eye were osprey's nests.  Like our bush turkeys (no relations), they return to the same nest year after year.

There was a salt lake - with a pink tinge.
